Getting Ready for 2010

Just about finished making the giant pink ribbon form for 2010. There will not be flowers in the dinning tent at the request of the Susan G. Komen Foundation. If you want to know why, ask them.

We are doing the Ribbon this year. It will be in camp on the first night for the walkers to fill. We will then move it to Kellogg Park in downtown Plymouth On Saturday morning. The Park is a cheering station for the walk.

We will then leave it in the park until it needs to be disposed of. The city dyes the fountain pink and it looks neat with the ribbon next to it.

Hope to see some of you on the walk. I will be working the Food Service crew this year.

So it begins anew

Just ordered 52 bolts of bright pink ribbon for Chris, she is working with the mid Michigan Susan G affiliate. She is going to take to the schools and have the kids decorate the ribbon and then they will be used to decorate the route. I think this is a cool Idea.
